Resumen
This research evaluated the effect of copper sulfate contamination on the physicochemical properties of soil and plant development, considering the influence of microalgae in laboratory-scale experimental systems. For this purpose, prototype constructed wetlands were used as a reference, employing soils with characteristics representative of the upper Bogotá River basin. Two experimental systems with their respective controls were established: one treatment irrigated with conventional water and the other with water enriched with live microalgae. Both systems were planted with ryegrass (Lolium spp.) to approximate the experimental conditions to a natural environment. Irrigation was carried out weekly for five weeks, while the microalgae were previously cultured and added live to the system to evaluate their influence on soil dynamics in response to copper contamination.
