Resumen
This research aims to design an improvement plan to optimize the management of the warehouse area at Universidad Antonio Nariño, Villavicencio campus, in order to strengthen inventory control, improve material distribution, and increase operational efficiency. The study arises from the identification of several issues, such as manual inventory management, lack of standardized processes, poor organization of physical space, and delays in the delivery of supplies. Methodologically, the research follows a descriptive approach with a mixed-method design, using tools such as surveys, interviews, direct observation, and process analysis through SIPOC and flow diagrams. The results revealed inconsistencies in records, low traceability of materials, and varying levels of satisfaction among internal users. Based on this diagnosis, an improvement plan is proposed, including the implementation of technological tools, process standardization, warehouse reorganization, and staff training. In conclusion, the project establishes strategies aimed at optimizing warehouse logistics management, contributing to efficient resource use and proper institutional functioning.
