Resumen

Since 1840, Villavicencio has become the gateway to the plain, a place abundant in gastronomy, culture and its unique landscapes. All that cultural heritage wrapped around the development of the city, what hides every corner of this site that should be preserved and admired by all the inhabitants, this growth so diverse in all its contemplations has been present hand in hand with the residents and The architectural elements are not far behind, the spaces that have been designed and executed to supply any need have undergone improvements, restorations, recoveries but sadly in many cases lost; The lack of cultural appropriation by the community has allowed the heritage architectural history, especially in this case in the downtown area of Villavicencio, to become foreign elements and those urban spaces that were once for the community and its benefit today. Today it does not contribute or provide quality to the improvement of life. This approach is based on the analysis of cultural heritage and the community itself through a mixed methodology that brings together everything from interviews to the use of data in order to structure step by step the development and renewal of the urban space of the area to work hand in hand with the reactivation of the historical architectural heritage of the center of Villavicencio.
