Resumen
In this study, a functional prototype of a coil-type heat exchanger was developed for use in extracting thermal energy using vegetable oils as the heat transfer fluid. The initiative arose from the need—identified at the Antonio Nariño University laboratory in Tunja—for experimental equipment of this type that would allow students and researchers to conduct experiments focused on the study of heat transfer processes.
