Impacto de los asentamientos informales y diseño de prototipos de vivienda progresiva en contexto de informalidad en la ciudad de Villavicencio

Resumen

This research explores the impact of informal settlements on urban planning and well-being in key Colombian cities, primarily Villavicencio. Through a focused study, the research aims to document the living conditions, socioeconomic situation, and urban context of these settlements in the capital of the Llanos region, and to demonstrate how they affect the city's urban structure and core. The goal is to present prototypes of progressive housing that can adapt to the needs of these populations in the event of potential relocations, providing a cost-effective and scalable solution to improve their well-being. The objective of this research is to develop a potential strategy that integrates elements of self-construction, social integration, and sustainable growth, allowing these communities to personalize their homes according to their own ideas. This underscores the need for effective public policies and the participation of these populations in the transformation of informal settlements to foster inclusive and equitable urbanism.
