Resumen

This research analyzes the challenges faced by fee-based accountants in Duitama, Boyacá, aiming to understand how this modality affects both professionals and companies. To achieve this, information will be requested from the Duitama Chamber of Commerce to survey independent accountants. Additionally, managers employing accountants under this scheme will be interviewed to gauge their perspective on the work performed. The study seeks to identify where deficiencies lie, determining manager satisfaction levels and the specific situational difficulties accountants face. Ultimately, this analysis will provide recommendations for both parties to resolve identified issues and improve the professional relationship within this contracting modality.
