Narrativas de psicólogos y trabajadores sociales respecto a la influencia de las letras del reguetón en la construcción de identidad y en los comportamientos sexualizados de los adolescentes.

Resumen

The objective of this article is to investigate how the environment influences the behavior and identity of adolescents. Two interviews were conducted with professionals with experience in the care of children and adolescents in different areas. It is sought to understand how music, especially reggaeton, affects adolescents. The goal is to know how professionals interpret this influence. It is also desired to identify the factors that make adolescents appropriate musical content with sexual undertones. The research was carried out through interviews and qualitative analysis. Psychologist María Altamar, an expert in attention to adolescent victims of sexual exploitation, was interviewed. Social worker Elis Ortiz, who has experience in attending to children and adolescents in the boarding modality of Family Welfare protection, was also consulted. The results show that reggaeton lyrics can influence the identity and behavior of adolescents. However, this influence depends on family, social, and cultural factors present in their environment.
