Resumen
Family functioning and quality of life are key factors in coping with cancer, as their interaction plays a decisive role in patient adaptation and treatment outcomes. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between family functioning and quality of life in people with cancer receiving palliative care. To this end, a quantitative, analytical, crosssectional observational study was conducted on a sample of 80 participants aged 18 and older, with a predominance of females (55%) over males (45%). Ages ranged from 20 to 87 years, with a mean of 62.02 years (SD = 15.51) and a median of 63.38 years, indicating a higher proportion of older adults.
