Resumen
This research analyzes the factors associated with the business mortality of small servicesector enterprises in the city of Neiva, Huila. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study collected and examined statistical data along with surveys applied to companies that ceased operations between 2021 and 2024. The findings reveal that the main causes of business closure include high operating costs, declining sales, lack of market adaptation, poor strategic planning
