Resumen
In an increasingly globalized world, countries depend on trade and economic exchange. Throughout history, institutions have been created to regulate, manage, and resolve conflicts between nations. However, national policies limit these institutions’ ability to intervene in national decisions, often forcing them to rely on diplomacy and the hope that countries will cooperate. This document examines the impact of international political discord on Colombian exports over the past decade, from 2016 to 2026. The objective of this research is to analyze political tensions in two specific cases Ecuador and Israel and how these have affected Colombia’s trade balance.
