Resumen
This thesis project focuses on the architectural analysis and improvement of the Ciudad Bolívar Sports Complex, a neighborhood-scale sports facility located in the Real de Minas sector of Bucaramanga. This facility plays a vital role as a meeting place, sports venue, and recreational space for the community, but it suffers from several spatial, technical, and functional shortcomings that limit its potential as a sports arena and community gathering place. In response to this situation, the project proposes a comprehensive architectural intervention to reconfigure the sports complex, optimize its operation, and strengthen its relationship with the urban environment and its users.
