Resumen
In this paper, energy mining and non-mining energy exports and their causal relationship in the divergence of exports in a period (2002-2019) are analyzed. The dynamics of all the tradable sectors of the economy were observed, making a comparison between them, going from having a diversified export basket, to a dependence on the exports of the mining and energy sector, as well as its participation and growth in exports, taking into account your investment, capital and employment. Where the boom and dependence on total exports and the disincentives that make exports difficult are analyzed. These facts allow us to affirm the effects that the development of Colombian exports had from the beginning of the first decade to the end of the second decade.
