Resumen
Colombia is among the main exotic fruit export countries in the world due to its great variety of cultivable lands and its climatic seasons. In some regions of Colombia, they began to cultivate the Gulupa (Passiflora Edulis f) as another alternative business plan. Over time, this exotic fruit began to be desired in national markets and shortly thereafter highly sought after in international markets due to its natural properties and its characteristics to relax blood pressure, antioxidants, among others. Colombian producers and farmers took advantage of this opportunity to not only show Gulupa as an exotic fruit but also offer the world other presentations such as jam. Jellies or jams is one of the products that Germany imports the most due to its high consumption in the local market. It is estimated that a high percentage of the German population consumes jams to accompany food and this is a great opportunity to export Gulupa jam sweetened with agave syrup from Colombia to the German market, taking advantage of the trade agreement with the European Union.
