Resumen
Child physical abuse is a public health problem that causes a series of consequences for the optimal development of children and their families, primarily harming the emotional and trust bonds within the parental system. Therefore, a qualitative research study with a phenomenological design is proposed as a methodological tool for describing and interpreting the problem under study. The sample consists of five parents who were victims of physical abuse during childhood in the municipality of Chiquinquirá.
