Resumen
The vast majority of Boyacá municipalities have coordinated the management of some non-residential public services (vital to their development and sustainability) through decentralized municipal public establishments or entities responsible for providing and managing them. In the case of Duitama, the public establishment (ESDU) plays this role. This is the case with the use of public spaces intended to provide a service to the community at large, such as the space allocated for the market square, fairgrounds, transport terminal, animal processing plant, and parking lots, among others. In the case of Duitama, the supply center or market square is the Fruver del Merca plaza (Fruver del Merca plaza). (Agreement No. 14, 2011).
