Resumen
Coffee in Colombia is a constantly evolving factor in the economy due to its production and exports over the last few decades, reflecting the social and cultural development the coffee sector has undergone. It boasts a high global status in terms of brand and quality, with coffee accounting for 66% of the country's crops (National Federation of Coffee Growers, 2014).Since the economic opening in Colombia, the importance of the exchange rate, its behavior and its relationship with exports has been reflected, demonstrating the role it plays in the nation's growth.
