Resumen
Huila is a department that has more than 58 Catholic religious temples, of which only a small number have beneficial information on their physical characteristics. Various cultures have developed around these striking buildings. Its monumentality represents the importance that these occupied, both in society and in people's lives. However, nowadays, by not knowing their histories or their architectural characteristics, their loss of value has been generated and there has been a step so that, in some buildings, aspects are changed or modified that make them lose their essence. Inside each of the churches, there are different elements that make these constructions of great importance for the architectural history of the region.
