Resumen
Environmental education in Colombia is governed by the Environmental Education Law, the National Environmental System and some laws, such as Law 1549 of 2012 whose purpose is the “training of critical and reflective people with the ability to understand the environmental problems of their contexts (local, regional and national). Which includes the teaching-learning process of teachers and students in the social, cultural, political, and economic framework, since from teaching methods and techniques to the development of awareness and critical thinking to the environmental problems of Colombia as this helps for the student to contextualize himself from the real problems of his country.
