Resumen
The learning styles are defined as the different ways that are used by persons to learn; they describe the conditions under which the student is located in the better position to learn, or what kind of tool is needed to improve the learning process. The present work tried to identify the learning styles from the dependence-independence field in medical students; to stablish the performance level for each dimension of self-concept; to describe the learning self-regulation.
