Resumen
The visitation regime between parents and children is a mechanism that can be agreed between spouses, by court order or by administrative authority, however, in Colombia, it does not present sanctions for parents who fail to comply with it, but rather, social, psychological, and cultural repercussions for children who do not receive them or are not guaranteed them, the latter as a consequence of the sentimental breakdown, the spouse who is deprived of family coexistence, decides to withdraw and/or ignore their exercise of strengthening emotional and family ties with their children, or the spouse who has custody incurs parental alienation and prevents the other from seeing the children or finally, when starting the visits and getting the child and/or adolescent used to them, abruptly decides to interrupt them.
