In Colombia, according to the legal system, it is considered that minors between 12 and 14 years of age lack the capacity for sexual self-determination, for which reason there are legal precepts that promote protection against sexual crimes and any practice of this nature that may harm their biopsychosocial development, since what is sought is that these practices are carried out with sufficient responsibility, with consent and without affecting their fundamental rights.
