Resumen
The objective of this study is to recognize the important aspects to take into account in the implementation of environmental accounting in organizations, thus identifying the current regulations that regulate environmental accounting in organizations at a national and international level, the relationship of environmental accounting with the development of the Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs and finally, describe the benefits that the implementation of environmental accounting brings to organizations in Colombia.
