Resumen
This project proposed the implementation of a test bench for laboratory with the use of the Savonius rotors that allow the characterization and collection of their yield curves to do tests and adaptations focused on the potential analysis of Eolic resources by the Universidad Antonio Nariño (UAN)’s students from sede Puerto Colombia. Hence, students can strength their acquired knowledge throughout their educational careers. The motivation to plan, conduct and complete the project effectively came from the initiative to make a significant contribution to the quality of education of the UAN, Sede Puerto Colombia, with a test bench that allows undertake studies, and analysis about the characterization of Savonius rotors’ yield curves in the industry. This allows Engineering mechanics students to appropriate knowledge related to the interaction with this type of equipment.
