Resumen
The present research was carried out in order to identify parental competencies in parents from the Nasa indigenous community of Potrerito Huila, with the objective of determining the main characteristics of said competencies that the parents of this community exercise. The participants in this study were fathers and mothers between the ages of 18 and 45; with children in the age ranges of 6-7 and 8-12 years where the sample was obtained randomly.
