Resumen
Currently, adolescents dedicate a large part to social networks with the plague of the Internet having become a social digital addiction, since through this means it allows them to have social interaction with family, friends, and interact with new people near or far, where They expose their image and their life through photographs and videos. The objective of this work is to identify the influence of social networks on body image in eleven grade adolescents at the Nuestra Señora de la Consolación Educational Institution, considering the importance of managing social networks on body image if whether or not they are influenced by the ideal body model offered on social networks, recognize if body dissatisfaction has affected, altering or transforming some of their daily practices that significantly affect their mental health, this research has been developed through a quantitative research design, it is descriptive, with an experimental design, carried out with a sample of thirty eleven grade female students, the survey was used as the main technique and a questionnaire as an instrument.
