Resumen
Discusión/Conclusiones/Contribuciones. La contribución principal del artículo es destacar la relevancia de una adecuada relación con la técnica y el modo como esta contribuye a nuestra individuación y supervivencia. Purpose/Context. The purpose of this article is to stablish a complementary relationship between the proposal of the North American biochemist V.R. Potter and the theory of individuation of the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon, in the sense that they both allow us to understand the role of technical objects in human individuation. Methodology/Approach. To establish this relationship we use the “categories” of technical judgment and concretization to show the role of the latter in order to develop the Bioethical intuition of V.R. Potter. In other words, the relationship between the theory of individuation and the Bioethical intuition can give us new ways to relate to technical and natural culture in order to guarantee an acceptable survival. Results/Findings. The concretization and technical judgement are paradigms to understand systems internal dynamisms and not external categories. In this sense, the technical judgment does not judge, but organizes the parts to avoid obsolescence. In the words of Potter, it is a way to create new relations with biotic and abiotic systems. Discussion/Conclusions/Contributions. The main contribution of the article is to note the relevance of an adequate relation with technics, in order to understand the role of technics in our individuation and our survival.
