The purpose of this study was to design and validate an organizational maturity model for the alumni area of the Project Management graduate programs at El Bosque University,as well as its application in the context of the Cundinamarca department, with the objective of strengthening its institutional capacities in program management. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques, including alumni surveys, the application of the OPM3 (Organizational Project Management Maturity Model), and the validation of results through comparative analysis and contextual adaptation to the organizational environment. The diagnostic findings revealed that the alumni area is at an initial maturity level of 32%, indicating the presence of functional processes that are not yet standardized or systematically integrated. Consistent with this, the dimensions showing the greatest progress were integration, scheduling, and governance, while quality, risk, and communications exhibited the lowest maturity levels. From the alumni perspective, the study also identified a limited level of awareness and use of the services available to graduates, despite a strong willingness to participate in activities tailored to their needs and to recommend the University academically, representing an opportunity to strengthen the connection between graduates and the institution. Based on the gap analysis of the maturity model, critical capabilities were identified and, in relation to the gaps found, a Roadmap was developed that defines specific improvement actions to be implemented over a 24-month period. In accordance with the above, this instrument proposes organizational strengthening strategies, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and a progressive approach aimed at increasing the level of maturity in management.
