Caso de rinitis crónica prolñiferativa en ovino adulto de raza rasa aragonesa Universidad de Zaragoza, España
The following case is from an adult Rasa Aragonesa sheep, referred to the clinical service of ruminants (SCRUM) by one of the associate service veterinarians of the UNIZAR. After the exploration of the flock, the veterinarian identified a problem of individual character, in which a snoring is perceived on one adult female sheep of the flock. Apart from presenting already a history of low productive performance, to the scarcity of food before the winter season, the serious respiratory illness that it presented was added to it. The case was diagnosed as an ovine Proliferative Chronic Rhinitis disease, through clinical examination, and nasal swab sampling for culture confirmation of the etiological agent involved. It has been reported as causative agent of this pathology Salmonella enterica subsp. diarizonae serotype 61: k: 1.5, (7). The female was treated with an antimicrobial experimental protocol
