Resumen
Saponins are a group of glycosides can be steroids or triterpenoids (Fontan-Candela, 2010), its name is derived from the Latin "toad" which means soap; it is named for its properties like soap (Dominguez, 1973). Is found in most plants and there are often more discoveries of the plants that own them (Fontan-Candela, 2010). Each molecule is making up of a group soluble in lipids (steroid or tripterpenoid) and a water-soluble element such as the sugars that make up the plant (Zeiger, 2006) When they meet water, they form foam. In the development of this project the extraction of the parenchyma saponins from the Aloe vera L. leaf was carried out by the method and the development method, it was quantified by UV-VIS spectroscopy obtaining a concentration of 0.56mg / L.
