Adaptación de la metodología BIM en infraestructura vial basada en los protocolos invias para municipios de 5 y 6 categoría

Mora Castellanos, Juan Camilo · Rocha González, Edison FerneyAsesor: Cañón Buitrago, Elkin Darío

This project is based on an analysis of the BIM methodology for the digital and collaborative management of infrastructure projects, through the use and application of BIM guides and manuals currently under development by INVIAS. It also draws on international experiences, such as the case of Peru, where the use of BIM has been successfully adapted for public infrastructure projects in contexts of limited resources. This adaptation of the methodology at the local level is crucial for small municipalities to access the benefits of the technology without facing insurmountable economic and technical barriers. The project aims to create a BIM implementation guide for municipalities in categories 5 and 6, as well as validate its positive impact on road project management. Furthermore, it seeks to demonstrate the application of advanced technologies in low-resource contexts, serving as an example for similar situations. In the long term, it is anticipated that this implementation of the BIM methodology will allow small municipalities to improve the quality and efficiency of their road infrastructure, contributing to local and national development
