La biología de las emociones como herramienta pedagógica para el desarrollo de la gestión emocional en estudiantes de primaria de las instituciones “la Merced” y “Roberto Velandia” del municipio de Mosquera-Cundinamarca.
Emotional education is a fundamental component of integral development during childhood; however, difficulties persist in understanding the biological basis of emotions and applying appropriate strategies for their management. Therefore, this study analyzed the impact of a pedagogical strategy based on the Biology of Emotions on learning related to emotional understanding among primary school students at La Merced and Roberto Velandia schools in Mosquera, Cundinamarca. Using a qualitative approach, workshops, games, and reflective activities were implemented, including the “Emotions Traffic Light.” The results showed progress, with Grade 202 reaching an initial level and Grade 502 an intermediate level. It is concluded that the strategy enhanced emotional understanding.
