Movimientos campesinos, reforma agraria y lucha por la configuración del territorio, municipio de Ambalema (Tolima)

The purpose of this research is to inquire into the importance that peasant movements have had in Colombia and mainly in the municipality of Ambalema (Tolima), for allowing the peasantry to develop the cohesion and empowerment necessary to claim their rights over the territory, the defense of their ways of life, of production, of their relationship with nature and of course their identity based on resistance, as well as the paths that have been followed from their constitution to the present day, highlighting the difficulties they have endured, its achievements and projection into the future in the face of the challenges posed by working for a life of dignity and peace that can benefit both rural and urban areas.
