"In August 2016, the Musical Analysis Experiences and Practices Meeting was held in Bogotá, with the participation of 16 speakers, who presented the results of their investigations and inquiries. The texts collected in this publication are a sample of these presentations. Identifying that the delimiters of a field of study are porous triggers many questions and conversations. Musical analysis, understood as an area or discipline, is a significant example of this, for which the scene is loaded with interesting debates, sometimes directed to question nuclear aspects such as, for example, what is the object of study of musical analysis?".
