Resumen
The image contains a news report about a contract dated February 14, 1851, in Bogotá. It regulates the employment of prisoners in cigar making under the direction of contractor Rafael Álvarez, who supplies the tobacco and oversees the business. In return, Álvarez pays a fee per cigar made. The contract details the responsibilities of the contractor and the prison director, as well as disciplinary rules and deadlines for termination.
