What do the Newspapers Say? (In)visibilities of the Creations of Former Uruguayan Female Political Prisoners on their Experiences of Repression during State Terrorism in the Press

Resumen
From the first Encuentrazo held in 1997, a period began in which female former political prisoners developed a public communication strategy: in different ways and in multiple formats, they communicated their experiences collectively, up to the present. In the investigation, which is still ongoing, I try to find out what was the media visibility that these creations had in the Uruguayan press. I present here research advances on what was the media coverage carried out by two Uruguayan print media, with similar trajectory, with the same periodicity and different editorial lines: Brecha and Búsqueda.
