Transformaciones educativas en el proceso de formación de ingenieros civiles en la Universidad de Matanzas

Resumen

For manyyears, different processes of educationaltransformation have been carriedout to achievegreater efficiency in the training of civil engineers in Cuba. This is how the need to implement the new educationalmodels, coupled with the health crisis caused by the appearance and accelerated spread of the new SARS-COV-2 coronavirus, has influenced the modification of the different forms of teaching in Cuban educationalinstitutions. Higher. The Civil Engineering career at the University of Matanzas is tempered to the demandsimposed in the framework of professional training and to the new epidemiologicalsituation to generatepossiblestrategies and attend to the entireuniversitypopulation in the transition from face-to-face teaching to non-teaching. face-to-face, mediated by technology. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the educationaltransformations in the process of training civil engineers in saidinstitution, in which all the actors of the teaching-learning process are protagonists. The resultsobtained from its implementation in the 2019-2020 schoolyeardemonstrate the comprehensivepreparation of futuregraduates, revealing the performance and involvement of the faculty of the Construction Department in the development of scientific-pedagogicalinnovation that is not stoppedunder the prevailingconditionsduring the analyzedperiod. With the bibliographicalconsultationscarriedout, it can be seen that the subjectstudied is in the center of sight for thosewhoseek modern forms in the teaching-learning processes that lead to positive achievements in the education of the future.
