It research work has as main objective to design a guide of recommendation for the selection of the maturity model in the management of projects in Colombian companies where the models of maturity and the most important evaluation criteria were identified according to the literature and our analysis, where The company can evidence them and following a series of steps obtain as a result the model of maturity more according their necessity. It is a good option for companies that are disoriented in the moment to selecting the maturity model in their organizations
