Desafíos y expectativas de Colombia en APEC
APEC means the opportunity for constant growth that will help the country to reach new political and commercial scenarios. However, it should not be ignored that there are multiple limitations for the development of an effective international relationship. The processes are a slow in comparison to other countries in Latin America that have a presence in APEC such as Peru, Chile and Mexico, who have managed to stand out in the Latin American market, since they have opened their economic barriers with multiple agreements that facilitate the interrelation between they improve the links in social, economic, cultural and political aspects that end up being beneficial and enhancing the development of nations. It should be clear that the challenges and expectations of Colombia propose long-term solutions. The main challenges to be part of APEC refer to logistical issues. In terms of manufacturing Colombia is far below its competitors in Latin America, and should be considered as one of the main tasks that should be targeted, because this depends a lot on the development for the moment that this Asian "boom" invades our market
