The present work aims to identify the current demands required to fulfill human potential in the practice for nursing assistant students of the EDESA institution in the city of Medellín, for which descriptive proposals mixed with a qualitative and quantitative approaches, are applied as an instrument to interest groups at EDESA institution, such as students, graduates, teachers and chief nurses, where several items related directly to human potential were evaluated. Once the information is collected, tabulated and analyzed we can conclude that the fields of practice within the demands of nursing assistants today, aims to help achieve the human's potential not only in the technical training but through humanization in the care of the patient , Which EDESA, as an institution of education for work and human development, has been carrying out work regarding human potential which responds to the demands of today's working world
