AFFECTIVE-PEDAGOGICAL MODEL OF THE CLASSROOM
The Affective–Pedagogical Model of the Classroom is a profound, sensitive, and transformative work that invites us to rethink education from its most human dimension: the emotional one. Based on a research–creation process developed in real educational contexts, this book demonstrates how the emotional state of the teacher directly impacts classroom climate, student motivation, meaningful learning, and school coexistence. Far from understanding emotion as an obstacle, the author presents it as an essential pedagogical device. The book proposes an innovative model that integrates three inseparable dimensions: • Emotion, as the human foundation • Learning, as a living cognitive process • Teaching action, as a transformative practice The bridge between these dimensions is art, understood not as decoration, but as a pedagogical, expressive, and regulatory language. Through artistic experiences—painting, writing, body expression, image, and theater the classroom becomes a safe space to feel, create, reflect, and learn. This book brings together: Theoretical foundations from psychology, neuroeducation, and contemporary pedagogy Qualitative and quantitative analyses applied in secondary education Real evidence of emotional and academic transformation Replicable methodological proposals for any area of knowledge An ethical, human, and inclusive approach to education Aimed at teachers, pre-service teachers, researchers, artists, trainers, and educational leaders, this work offers concrete tools to build emotionally conscious classrooms, where learning is born from connection and sensitivity. The Affective–Pedagogical Model of the Classroom is not only read—it is felt. It is an invitation to educate through presence, listening, and creation. Because teaching is not only about transmitting content. It is about touching lives.
