Hidden Talents

Hidden Talents is an illustrated children's book designed as an interdisciplinary educational resource that integrates children's literature, arts education, environmental education, and social-emotional learning for elementary school students. The story takes place at the fictional Nuquí Paz School, inspired by the natural and cultural richness of Colombia's Pacific region. Through a cast of animal characters representing different species, the book promotes the recognition of individual talents, respect for diversity, inclusion, collaborative learning, and environmental stewardship. Beyond its narrative, the book includes critical thinking questions, creative art activities, and reflective exercises that foster reading comprehension, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning.
