Colombian sport, in its current configuration, presents many elements contrary to human dignity and God’s salvation project for the mankind. Theology of sport as consciousness raising and statement of the relations established between human beings, God and sport assumes the challenge of analyzing critically the sport phenomenon and proposing some strategies to humanize it. This research uses the critic correlation methodto analyze the Colombian sport phenomenon under theological premises, clarifying strategies that allow human being’s liberation from sport elements that threaten to obstruct the liberation God makes in us
