Diseño de un modelo de gestión de inventarios para la procesadora Pollos Gar S.A.S

This research work arises from the need to improve logistics operations in the company Pollos Gar S.A.S evidenced in the inefficient management of inventories of consumer products, which has a direct impact on the financial statements. Consequently, the analysis of the problem will determine an inventory management model that leads to improved customer service by establishing strategies and policies related to storage and dispatches. The inventory management model will be formulated by meeting the following specific objectives. First, a state of the art will be built on the handling of meat products that contribute to the theoretical support of the model. Second, the realization of a diagnosis of the operations linked to the inventory management processes. In the third objective, it establishes a set of indicators to evaluate the performance of the model and finally the formulation of policies that ensure the efficient implementation of the model.
