Resumen
This monograph exposes the approach of the graduation project; "Bioparque, La Martinica en el municipio de Ibagué" Which aims to become an impact and environmental/educational focus for the population of the city of Ibague and the municipality of El Totumo of which La Martinica is a part. With the objective of potentiate the economy through environmental tourism and awareness building regarding its nearby habitat. The "Bioparque, La Martinica" project aims to revive the green and sustainable life of the sector from the Biopark's design, to adapt to the natural conditions of the sector. Being able to increase the environmental, economic and social indicators, based on the preservation of flora and fauna, increasing the supply and the connection of the social ties of the community. The proposal implements 2 new equipments, an educational museum, and a thematic viewpoint when mimicking with the environment, make up the Bioparque, La Martinica, which emerges as an element of strengthening and connection to the existing equipment network, supplying the need for identity, preservation of the ecosystem and tourism, and thus help the inhabitants of the sector to generate higher development expectations.
