Impact of immigrants, displaced persons, demobilized persons, and victims of the conflict in the internationalization of business

The purpose of this article is to determine the impact of hiring vulnerable people has on the internationalization of the business of Colombian companies. This study focuses on the victim population of the armed conflict, the displaced, the demobilized and immigrants who have arrived in our country because of the economic and humanitarian crisis that has been taking place for more than a decade in Venezuela. This work is important because our nation is facing strong winds of internal change, among other reasons for the implementation of the peace agreement signed, more than five years ago, with the FARC-EP, the social protest as a result of the deep inequality and lack of opportunities that exist in the country, the aftermath of the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the constant and permanent immigration of Venezuelan citizens in search of better opportunities for their families. To this we must also add that Colombia has suffered for decades high unemployment rates, for many years one of the highest in Latin America.
