Neurodidactics and Critical Thinking: Perspectives for Today¿s Education

Resumen

This article aims to spotlight the connections between neurodidactics and critical thinking as a proposal to enhance the learning process and the Colombian educa-tion model. First, the context of education in Colombia will be addressed; then, the importance of critical thinking in contemporary times and the advances in neu-roeducation for its promotion will be explained. Finally, some suggestions will be made to improve the pillars of neurodidactics and critical thinking in primary and secondary education nationwide. The most relevant conclusion is how neurodidac-tics contributes directly to brain empowerment and the formation of complex pro-cesses aligned with the training of active subjects in a differential and contextuali-zed education model.
