Resumen
Introduction. There is a special concern for the characteristics of communication in conference rooms surgery, given the impact it has on the results both in the patient and in the relationships between different working groups that interact in such situations. Materials and methods. The observation was made and Real-time recording of communication failures. during surgical procedures of different specialties and complexities. An analysis was done statistics of the frequencies of the most common errors and an ¿ethnographic¿ analysis that characterizes the types of communication errors. Results. Observations and records were made. in real time of 179 communication failures in 35 surgical procedures, the complexity of which was high in 17%, low in 40% and median in 43%; in 80% had place in the afternoon, 60% used anesthesia
