La construcción de la imagen de la Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz por parte de El Espectador y la Revista Semana

The Special Jurisdiction for Peace is one of the components of the Integrated System for Truth, Justice, Reparation and Non-Repetition, created to recognize the rights of the victims of the Armed Conflict in Colombia; however, the polarization that exists around this matter has led to the question of whether Revista Semana and El Espectador have an impact on the perception that people have regarding the SJP. To answer this question, we analyzed the content of 177 news related to the Special Jurisdiction for Peace that were shared between January and August 2021; we also considered the reactions they have generated on the social network Facebook. The use of frames, the news bias and the agenda established by each media outlet were taken into account.
