Proyecto de investigación-acción para la innovación aplicada en la empresa Interlaken® Solutions

Márquez Cadavid, Álvaro Antonio del Carmen · Ballén Sepúlveda, MateoAsesor: Peña Martínez, Gabriel

This master's thesis documents an Action Research intervention carried out over 14 months at Interlaken® Solutions, an organizational consulting firm. The study addressed two critical challenges: the underutilization of the Interlaken® Gardens business unit and the absence of a formal internal innovation management system. Through the application of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) methodology across three phases (one diagnostic and two participatory), theoretical frameworks such as innovation determinants and the VUCA approach were integrated for solution design. As a result of the first intervention, the School for Training Trainers was created, articulating an educational ecosystem in the region. Building on this finding, Interlaken® Lab was developed and implemented—an innovation architecture model composed of a cultural manifesto, iteration rituals (Sprints and Microloops), and a knowledge repository. The research concludes that the deliberate systematization of innovation reduces operational dependence on founding partners and converts tacit learning into scalable organizational capabilities, directly contributing to SDGs 9 and 17 through the strengthening of innovation infrastructure and strategic partnerships
