Resumen

Managing operational deviations in the chemical industry is a significant challenge due to the lack of complete, simple, and timely information, which can limit the ability to respond to unforeseen events. Despite existing documentation, the lack of immediate information and the rapid obsolescence of printed documents complicate the effective management of these deviations. However, the adoption of emerging technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is transforming the way data is analyzed and shared, improving organizational responsiveness and enabling more agile and secure management of production processes. In this context, digital transformation seeks not only to optimize operational efficiency but also to address safety challenges within the chemical industry. Given the increasing market pressure and the demands of globalization, constant innovation has become imperative to maintain competitiveness.
